All the aspiring
engineers, what is their ultimate goal?
To get high scores in
exams or to work in a real- project?
The second option is
chosen by many of us, whether we are from B.tech-IT, CSE or like me, doing its
software engineering. All of us want to be a part of it.
So, what should we do
for it? Have you ever heard
about “KDE”?
The KDE Community is a technology
team, which is an international too. It is dedicated in creating free and
user-friendly applications. It gives platform for experimentation and solutions
to various problems.
It is not only for “coders”.
It is having various departments which focus on individual’s liking. There are
field like, “documentation”, “translation”, “art”, “promotion” and bug testing.
The experience gained will likely help that person in the near future.
The coding part is
mainly based on “C++’ and “Qt”. The documentation team is very much in demand these
days as it’s their responsibility to make the whole software to be more
understandable. The art team works on beautifying the whole look and feel. If
you are good at it, go for it. Promotion and bug testing are amongst others
which interest those who don’t have much experience in coding, still wants to
contribute in it.
Experience freedom,
experience big with it.
