Instapaper
Every now and
then, we are finding articles, eBooks, online magazines or simply some relevant
information. That is what I was doing when I looked up to this “web service”.
Quite honestly, I was finding “some novels” and wanted to read them later. This
“Instapaper” gave me a solution of reading those articles offline.
What is Instapaper?
Instapaper is a web service that saves articles for
later reading on web browsers. After registering
a free account, the service saves articles that users select with its
"Read Later" bookmarklet and presents them in a readable text layout.
Registering a free account:
Go to the URL
http://www.instapaper.com/user/register
Simply, make an account and viola...
New screen comes.
And the work is over.
How it works
Instapaper gives you a Read Later bookmark.
- When you find something you want to read, but you don't have time, click “Read Later.”
- Come back when you have time, or read your articles on the go.
We can send items directly from Google Reader
simply by clicking the Instapaper Read Later bookmarklet with an item selected.
This even works on the mobile, iPhone-friendly Google Reader site. Over 140
iPhone and iPad apps support sending pages directly to Instapaper using the Developer
API.
So, it is great for long articles and blog posts
that we want to read later on. Just use Instapaper, and then we can read it,
“whenever” we want to.
